Babies are back!!!! Music to my ears. Having my morning coffee I heard a racket…only to look up and see Leucy’s youngsters back on the wire cawwing for bfst!!!! A quick little plate of canned dog food seemed to do the trick. I’ll try and snag a photo. One of them certainly has some of Leucy’s coloring on his/her back!!!

If you have any trouble posting it here (I still haven’t created the code reminder for a sticky) send it to me and we’ll add it to your post. We’ll be on the lookout for a distinctive-looking baby, too.

the close one (I call it ‘George”…has a little white spot on its chest. It usually dive bombs me (in a non aggressive HEY YOU!! kind of way) if I’m sitting on the porch and not being quick enough in the food delivery :) It makes us very happy to have them back in the yard. Sure do miss watching Luecy feed them.

these two have now taken up a little residence in the tree by my front yard :) 7am sharp, they’re on the line yelling for bfst… Quite a freindly pair, actually. Sometimes they bring some friends over.

When I get home at night, the seem to recognize my car and come swooping by to say hi!. I told them they weren’t gonna get fed if they keep pooping on my car. grr.

Wasn’t Leucy’s body sent to U.W. for an autopsy?
