Kumon is the world’s largest after-school math and reading program for kids K-12. Kumon aims to foster sound, capable individuals who are able to independently carve out a path for themselves in life.
Kumon is looking for a part time assistant with a passion for children’s education to work at its West Seattle location (2350 California Ave SW). Assistants MUST be able to attend class hours on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:30p to 7p. Additional hours may be offered during the day.
Responsibilities include:
-Working with students to teach them the center routine
-Grading student homework and classwork*
-Prepping work for students
-Inventory management
Assistants will be required to go through a 4 hours Kumon orientation and training and must demonstrate adequate proficiency in math and reading. Interested applicants should email their resume and a short paragraph explaining why they want to work for Kumon to avantiprahlad@ikumon.com
