There is ONE thing that has worked for us so far (and thanks to those who have offered advice via WSB Forums and Twitter, when I file one of my periodic complaints … the latest is flies but we found nontoxic hanging gizmos we hope will handle them) … an archived article online somewhere suggested keeping them away from the cats’ food dishes by setting up a sort of moat of soapy water that the food dishes can sit in (without there being so much water that the cats might drink it). Worked like the proverbial charm – TR
