This thread is creeping me out. I am not sure about all the subtext here but I’m hearing DBP’s voice in my head as HAL’s.

I have the exact same picture of the kitten in post #1, but the slogan reads “Every time you vote Republican, God kills a kitten”.

    hammerhead..

    DBP..

you posted kittens.. Jans leads with flowers every day.

    jiggers..

some days i would much rather post about kittens and flowers…

i don’t have kittens but you should see how my flowers are shaping up.

    anonyme..

i wouldn’t have pegged your for one of the kitten picture people … i think i am going to have to ponder my ASSupmptions again ;->

    Telsa..

in the last 24 hours you have bloomed. is it the spring coming out in you?

dhg.. DBP as Hal??? may be

jissy.. can we add puppies too? that would make my world nearly complete :)

JanS.. i agree. it was way too early in the morning to throw down kittens… i am glad i missed it yesterday..

because you didn’t … (((hugs))) hope you feel a lot better soon.

what makes these forums interesting is that you can literally take a topic anywhere you want it to go…

i wonder where this one will spin on the head of this pin?

It’s a wonder any kitten’s survived after all those evil-doers voted for Abraham Lincoln!

    Oh, the cat-astrophe!

JoB, your ASSupmptions are probably accurate. Someone emailed the kitten slogan to me, and the original included carnivorous monster robots chasing the little kitten. Sound more in character? (Secretly I watch ALL the cute animal videos online, but don’t tell anyone.)

I like your catnip quip, btw.

Jan, do you like Daphne odora? Very fragrant, like Plumeria.

I’m gonna be out your way today later. Do you want me to drop a few little branches off?

Let me know by 4:00 PM, please. Thanks.

Then you shall have some. As soon as they’re out. Whatever else is in bloom then as well.

    These photos are from hammerhead:

hammerhead just recently got off the post-pit-shit-list and is recovering nicely.

She does owe me a beer, however.

And believe me, when you owe DBP a beer, you really owe somebody a beer.

This may be waaaay out there.

If any one KNOWS how to PROPERLY harvest these things. I would be happy to “share’ maybe replace the ones stolen from that park.

They are spreading to my neighbors yard.

    They are quite beautiful.

We are talking about ten days until the lilacs start busting open, darling. Maybe sooner.

Unfortunately, they’re in harm’s way, right on the edge of my yard, so I made a carefully worded sign and put it up by the lilac bush. It’s just my little way of letting people know that these flowers are not for the public. They’re for my friend Jan.

“I forgo the vengeance of my daffodils, but I’m a superstitious man and if some unlucky accident should befall these lilacs, if they should get plucked by some stranger, or if they should fall off the bush somehow, or if they’re struck by a bolt of lightening, then I’m going to blame some of the people in this neighborhood, and that I do not forgive.”

    Very Truly Yours,

Oh boy! Don’t you wish you had Smell-a-Vision® right now?

    I’ve got Smell-a-Vision.®

But it usually fades away at the end of the month.

    (That’s when I take a shower.)
