JenVMemberI have been hands-free for almost two years with the same bluetooth headset. Now that I have a new phone, it doesn’t seem to work the same- or at all sometimes. That, and I left it in the car over a hot weekend and the earpiece melted. Yuck. I would like to get the hands-free bluetooth that you clip to the visor, but it’s expensive and I don’t know anyone who has tried one. Anyone have any reviews?

beachdrivegirlParticipantThat is what happens to mine JenV! It worked great for the past few weeks and then the last two days it just decided to stop working. It says it is connected but it just doesnt work. So any reveiws on the viser or a great bluetooth would be appreciated!

FranciParticipantI have a visor model, I don’t care for it – the sound is somewhat distorted – not clear enough for me.
Someone a few weeks ago on this blog was raving about a wireless headset. I ordered it, but it isn’t working out. The person I’m talking with can here beeping noise during the conversation and I hear clicking noises.. I suspect its just not compatible (completely) with my phone – as it doesn’t auto connect either. I have to re-connect to it each time I place a call. It is going back as soon as I get around to calling them. This is actually the 2nd one – I called the company using the wireless headset and they could hear the beeping too, and they sent me out a 2nd one.

kathyMemberI just got the Jawbone. I am told that it has some military technology that eliminates all noise except for your voice. It also adjusts the speaker output so you can hear your caller’s voice clearly. I am told that my voice comes through clearly. I don’t mind wearing it at all -I almost forget I have it on until it starts ringing in my ear!

cjboffoliParticipantI installed a Parrot system in my VW. It was a little box that came attached to a wiring harness that was plug n’ play with my factory car radio. It took me about an hour to pull out the radio, attach the device in back, and to run a microphone to a spot near the instrument cluster. It even works with the built-in buttons on my steering wheel. It pairs effortlessly with my iPhone whenever I get into the car. When a call comes in it pauses the music and I can hear the call through the car stereo system. It’s a great system.
