ToddinWestwoodMemberWe saw a house online that we like to look at, BUT it is right near the WEst Seattle Hospital.
What is it like over there? Is it quiet? Scary?
Thanks,
todd

JanSParticipantTodd…I shared massage office space in a house at 29th and Kenyon for a while. It was never noisy there, just a quiet little neighborhood. Webster is a few blocks from there, so couldn’t tell you about that exact place, but the hospital is psychiatric now, and I would think that it doesn’t generate a lot of noise. Have no idea about scary, though…

arobarParticipantHi Todd, we live on 28th between Webster & Othello and LOVE the neighborhood. While, of course, I’m biased:), we’re often commenting on how quiet it is. Since we’re just over the hill, we don’t hear 35th and we’re far enough up we don’t hear Delridge. The hospital has been a non-issue. We’ve got parks within 2 blocks on either side of us and we have a great neighborhood association. We’d love to have you check it out! Best of luck…oh, and we’re definitely not scary (though we try to be at Halloween).

ToddinWestwoodMemberI guess I should have worded it better. I meant to ask if the hospital is noisy and if there is anything I should worry about living near it.

ErikParticipantRoving bands of mental patients? Isn’t that a WSB forum get-together?
