CandrewB1ParticipantDoes anyone know if Highline still charges a $100ish “hospital facility” fee or whatever they call it? My wife scheduled an appt with one of their clinics not knowing they have done such a thing in the past…

Michael WaldoParticipantI have used both Urgent Care and Clinic.
The 100 bucks was only for the Urgent care. The family medicine clinic is just a regular co-pay.
It has been two years since I used urgent care, so I don’t know the current policy.

texasMemberMaybe it depends on your insurance; I have never been charged $100 at any Highline Clinic.

GoGoParticipantI just got a statement from Swedish with a $125 “facility charge” for an office visit. I will be letting my doctor know that I won’t be back, I’m not paying $125 just to walk in the building every time I have an appointment with her. Has the world gone insane???

SueParticipantGoGo, was that a doctor at a Swedish hospital, or regular office? And if you don’t mind my asking, was this in top of an insurance co-pay, or was insurance not involved? These facility fees are out of control.

hammyMemberWe started using the Immediate Clinic for urgent care last year when our 4 year old became ill over a holiday weekend. We paid $15 for the entire visit including X-rays . They correctly diagnosed my daughter with pneumonia and we were able to start meds right away. We were impressed with the Immediate Clinic and have now used them on two other occasions. We continue to go to Swedish for primary care but if someone needs care during off clinic hours and treatment for a non threatening condition we are covered and it is a $15 copay. There is am Immediate Care in Burien but we went to the Crown Hill branch.

GoGoParticipantHi Sue, doctors office is in the Arnold Pavilion. Apparently I have to pay this because I have not met my deductible yet.
