Another thing to consider, when you are buying: Check the property info. for your neighbors. My friends just bought a house and started remodeling it. Soon after, the house nest door (on a tiny lot) was torn down and turned into two very ugly townhomes. And I mean ugly. So it’s good to check, not just for liens, but for zoning!
