My local mole is destroying my new lawn. I tried several nonpoisonous solutions but none seem to be working. I purchased a Victor ‘Out Of Sight” mole trap and find that I no longer have sufficient strength to set it. Anyone with advice on this topic or willing to help me set the trap would be much appreciated. Quite willing to pay for the time, but these can be dangerous so only experienced help is needed. Thank you.
They will most likely move on on their own. I get them every year but then they just seem to go away. If you are determined to help them move on (to the other side), Gopher Gasser will do the trick. I don’t have the heart for it, nor do I have an enviable garden to protect, so I just let them be.
It means that your yard is healthy and full of good bugs, worms and grubs which is the food source. You’ll essentially have to poison your lawn so nothing lives in it except the green green grass. There’s commercial products for that kind of lawn. Then you wont have moles. Just grass.
