    Please return my cat carrier.

About a week and a half ago, I noticed you trying to capture an animal out on 35th & 102nd. It turned out to be a rogue guinea pig. I fetched my cat carrier, some gloves, and a tempting treat, and we were able to get the guinea pig into the crate. You said you’d try to find the owner, otherwise you would keep it.

You introduced yourselves as “neighbors” J & A (not posting full names) and said you lived on 37th Place SW near 104th, by the school. That, and the fact that you’d gone to the effort to rescue an animal, prompted me to offer to LOAN you my cat carrier to carry the pig home. I’m normally not very trusting, but you seemed sincere when you promised to return the crate the next day.

I got tired of waiting, and looked for you today without success. None of the neighbors recognize your names or description. If you see this post, please return my carrier immediately. Aside from the principle involved, replacing a $30 crate may not seem like much to you – but it is a hardship for me. DO THE RIGHT THING.
