TheDMemberI have a flat roof that likely needs replacing. I have contacted many roofers who have all had different ideas. Does anyone have some good advice?

CarolPBMemberI recently had my roof replaced by B&J Roofing. I am very happy with the whole experience, and would highly recommend this company. I have heard that flat roofs are an extra challenge-so good luck!

LStephensParticipant2 Roofer recommendations – for a flat roof call BRD Roofing at 767-2995 and talk with Dale. (Disclaimer here, I’m married to the “B” of BRD. The BRD guys have over 30 years experience with flat roofs and 2 of the 3 owners are lifetime West Seattle residents and the 3rd has been in WS for 30+ years. For most other residential roofing, we used A Better Roofing Company, who were super-professional, extremely neat and were done in 2 days with a complete tear-off of our old roofing.

IrukandjiParticipantWe are happy with the product but not the performance of Bruce’s Roofing. Great salesmanship, solid products, but chaotic one-day install with no one on site that spoke competent English. They got the job done, disinterestedly fielded our concerns about employee behavior. We still don’t feel good about the HOW of how it all got done.

KevinParticipantWe had our flat roof replaced by a WS company no longer in business back in 2004. I interviewed a LOT or roofing companies and my second choice and who I would recommend now would be Anderson Roofing on the east side.

I was also VERY impressed with their sales person, Rob Rasco who may or may not still be with the company.
.
STAY FAR away from Jorve and Raynproof Roofing.
