yumpearsParticipantDoes anyone have any recommendations for a local garage door company? Our garage door broke this last weekend and we are not sure if we’ll be able to fix it, so we are probably in the market for a new door and installation.
Any recommendations, rave reviews of companies or even who to stay away from would be helpful.

right here in WS a garage door craftsman who does great work and is a fine human being
It would be great to see more of his work in our area

MrJTMemberDistribudoors ! We have bought 3 doors (3 different houses) They have done an awesome job on installation and service/maintenance on all of them.

livingonthebeachMemberDistribudoors is great. Rick is the sales guy who will come out, very personable and knows his stuff. Used them for both new construction and fixer. On one fixer he was able to use the motor and just change the door part, saved me $100’s. PS…and their install guys clean everything up behind them as they left (as it should be) :-)

defenestratorMemberSorry to bump this old thread, but I was searching the forums looking for a recommendation for garage door repair — I used Distribudoors based on the posts above, and was very pleased. Same-day service from Dusty, took less than an hour to fix the problem, did a bunch of extra cleaning/tuning-up stuff that I hadn’t asked for, and it all cost a lot less than I was afraid it was going to.
