Seattle Wushu Center, located in the old Satellite Auto Glass building on California & Juneau, is offering free introductory lessons for kids.
Ring in the school year with 3 free introductory lessons in our “Something Cool After-School” kids program! Kids from ages 5 to 17 are welcome to experience these free lessons to try out Chinese “Wushu” or “Kung Fu” first hand. The Back-to-School special includes a discount for a new student’s first 2 months if interested in continuing as a regular club member. Family discounts also apply toward this and other programs at the studio.

— Kung Fu-Kajukenbo (an effective self defense art and teaches all ranges of self defense as well as martial arts routines and fitness): 5 pm tues/thurs mighty mites (5-7 years old), or 6 pm tues/thurs (8 to 17 years old).
—Wushu (performance style martial arts, much like the movements of Jet Li or Jackie Chan. Forms, Jumps, leaps, tumbling, sword work, cudgel work, etc): Wednesdays and Fridays 6 to 7:30 pm
Back-To-School special is good through the end of October 2009.
