West Seattle Optical in the junction is a place that seems to have mixed customer/patient reviews. Only place I know of that is has an optician on site in WS.

And if you are someone who does not need prescription glasses, then consider a trip to Costco for some “easy readers.” They come in all strengths and they used to (may still do) sell a three pack for about $20.

West Seattle Eye Clinic in Westwood Village has been great. My vision is bad so it is tricky finding frames. They took time to help me find frames that look good. Later they replaced the lenses for me when the manufacturer messed up(now the problem is corrected). I appreciate their customer service.

Costco does prescription glasses and has one or two docs on site. They are very affordable if you do self pay.
