furryfacesParticipantWest Seattle Nursery Manager, Marcia, says, ‘Please join us for complimentary beer and hot dogs to celebrate the beginning of our Annual Fall Sale. We’ll take donations throughout the day and match them for the Furry Faces Foundation. This wonderful organization facilitates the adoption of stray cats and dogs into loving homes throughout the community and helps folks who are financially restricted with their pets.’

‘We are very flattered to be selected once again as the benefiting, local non profit for this event—thanks West Seattle Nursery’, says Tammy Lyle, Furry Faces VP. She explains, ‘The Beerfest includes both Georgetown Brewing Company’s famous Manny’s and Big Al Brew, plus Hebrew National hot dogs galore. We may even have a few ‘Yellow Submarine Twinkie’s’ up for grabs.
‘It just keeps getting better,’ exclaims Teri Ensley, Furry Faces Leader, ‘Regional Animal Services of King County has confirmed that they will be onsite with adoptable dogs, cats and kittens. Tim Scallon, our official F3 musician, is gracing our senses with his guitar and vocals. Plus, it’s another opportunity for folks to get a new pet ID tag for their dog or cat as we will have our pet engraving machine and all warmed up! Remember, Tag You Pet…It Ain’t Graffiti!
Quite a community event, so we hope to see all of you there!’

westcoastdebParticipantI thought I read that the beer and hotdogs were complimentary? They were charging for them yesterday – no big deal, really, as I came prepared to donate to the critters, but I feel better now that I know I was not imagining it.
