I am interested in getting facials, massages and body treatments at a day spa. Has anyone had good experience in any of the West Seattle spas? If so, what was the service and with whom. Thanks.

Olympus is scrubalicious! The body scrub is their specialty! Honestly, I never felt so smooth and CLEAN!

My wife goes to Shanti (on California) in Admiral. Great place!

For facials I recommend Cali at Shanti Salon- I have been going to her for over a year now- she has a calming and soothing personality and my skin has never looked better. I also had a massage with Deja at Shanti and would recommend her.

I am in the beauty business and I cannot say enough good things about Head to Toe day spa. We are lucky to have such a wonderful spa right in West Seattle!

Shanti used to be Carlin. I have had a facial several times from Cali. Last summer I went there for a facial and they didn’t have air conditioning (perhaps broken?). It was unbearable, so I haven’t been back since.

The very best facial in West Seattle is from Monica Silva who is in the spa at Belli Capelli. You won’t be disappointed.

For massage, it’s Diana Elizabeth at Chill

Too bad West Seattle can’t support one location for the very best!

Janean Wjvold Janka, Medical Esthetician at OLa Salon and Spa, Luna Park, is also expanding within All Star Fitness Executive Club downtown in the Medical Dental Bldg.

She is the “guru” of microcurrent non-surgical facelifting, cellulite treatments and microdermabrasion.

Janean takes before and after pictures and works with a natural red algae product that lifts your face and eye lids like nobody’s business.

Reach her for a free consultation at 206.391.8381

The Beauty Bar at Henderson and 35th is where you can get the best pedicure! They also do facials and waxing. The space is small and inviting and Lisa gives the best pedicure EVER!!

For waxing, I love Bren at Bee Waxed on California. She also does facials, but I have not had one from her. I have been to Head to Toe for facials, waxing, and nails. I would not recommend Head to Toe for any of those services. Helle Day Spa in Georgetown is probably what I’d recommend for facials and I get my nails done in the Morgan Junction, but I do not know the name of the place.

I second Monica Silva at Belli Capelli…. her facials leave your face renewed and you are so relaxed as she practices a sort of massage/ stress relief in her facials. At 52 my face has has never been better…..

For full body massage, there is no one better in WS than Lynn Lord at Healing Masssage Studio on Calfironia near Edmunds (south of hte junction). I have gone to Lynn for years.

I’m fitting in another recommendation for Head to Toe Day Spa. They are fantastic and I booked some spa fun there today in fact. I love massages by Phoebe, but everyone there is fantastic.

I hardly ever do any sort of spa thing, but I did get a facial at Head to Toe and it was pretty much everything I thought it would be. The room was warm and cozy, without being hot and claustrophobic, and I relaxed so well that I fell asleep. Luckily I walked to the spa, because I was so relaxed I don’t know if driving would have been a good idea. But again, that was the one time I went and it is the only place I’ve been to, so I’m sure that the other places are nice also.

My daughter asked for a “mother-daughter” spa day for her 18th birthday (so sweet), we went to the Body Bar on California & Genessee. The owner couldn’t have been more wonderful and we both enjoyed our facial/massage. I think her prices are good too. My daughter got the half-n-half; a 45 minute massage and a 45 minute facial for $99. I want to go again during “happy hour” special…any appointment that begins between 1:30-3:00pm on Mon-Fri is 20% off.

I go to spas all over town and love Head to Toe. Jennifer gives the best massage that I have ever had. Way better than Ummelina. I had a spa day here and it was wonderful.

I went to Head to Spa Day Spa today for the first time. Probably the best massage I have ever had. I ended up booking a facial for next week & i’m counting down the hours until then!!
