Check your router. we went for an embarassingly long time with .88 MbPS, while paying for “high speed”. Finally I was able to contact a human at comcast (via chat) after several reboots and Xfinity/Comcast gobbledegook. They sent a tech because the answer could not be found remotely. When the tech took one look at my router….he laughed and said it was outdated YEARS ago. Installed a new router, and with an online speed test, just checked, we are at 40MbPS
