Alki United Church of Christ (Alki UCC) a welcoming, progressive, open and affirming Christian community in West Seattle, is seeking a part time Music Director to lead and inspire our music-loving congregation in a wide variety of traditional and modern musical styles.
Role:
To grow and sustain a vibrant, dynamic music program that creates an emotional connection and promotes the spiritual life of our congregation through the ministry of music. Collaborate with the Pastor to reinforce church service themes; encourage a diversity of musical expression consistent with the mission and theology of the United Church of Christ.

Choir direction/accompaniment
Worship Services
Planning/coordinating
Managing music library
Salaried, part-time position without benefits, averaging 10 hours per week. Compensation $18,000 – $23,000/year depending on experience/final set of responsibilities.
