Does anyone know of a WS or south end source for candy making supplies. Specifically I’m looking to purchase bulk chocolate to make candy. I found a source up by Northgate, Home Cake Decorating Supply Co, but would like something closer.

PFI sells Callebaut chocolate by the pound or in 11 lb blocks, and Guittard chocolate in 10 lb blocks. Not sure about the price though. Their number is 206 682-2022. http://www.bigjohnspfiseattle.com

I love PFI, but you can get the chocolate cheaper at Restaurant depot. You do need a resale lic to buy from there though. How much are you looking for? I can probably help you with some.

FullTilt – It’s been 15 years since I made candy, but I can see starting with 10 pounds each of milk and dark chocolate and some white. Also looking for flavoring oils, malt & crunches. Starting out making buttercreams, cherries, pixies, PB cups, mints. That kind of thing. I’m checking prices at PFI and Home Cake Decorating Supply. If you find out what Restaurant depot charges, I’d be happy to know.

for the callebraute it is 42 for 11 lbs Dark choc. The milk and white are cheaper. They also carry another brand that is cheaper but I don’t use it because it is not vegan. Has butter.

    check them out here.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Maybe once I get myself in gear and actually make some candy, I’ll bring it by a forum get together.
