Butter sale at Thriftway – ends 6/9

Spotted Darigold Butter at 2/$4 at the Morgan Street Thriftway. Good until 6/9 as I recall.

I was there yesterday, and meant to check to see if any butter was at a good sale price. Didn’t need any at the time, but will need more soon.

I’ve been stocking up the last couple of months or so, when these sale prices have been in the two for $3.00-$5.00 range. I recall at least one time, when I had at least 10 lbs in the freezer!

I need to watch my sodium, so like being able to get the unsalted butter at such good prices, instead of having to resort to getting the margarine that is like $1.75 per pound.

Gonna take advantage of this price on Tuesday, when I get “paid”!

The best buy I have found on butter is at Costco. They have salted or unsalted in 4 – 1 pound packs for $6.45. That is only $1.62 per pound.
