Hi you wildly passionate fans of Buddha Ruksa! I bet you didn’t know that a number of the cars parked right in front of their place are working inside. How about you all ask the owner and workers if they’d be willing to park on Genesee? Its usually empty when they come to work and its a well lit area. They’d be within a block of their job and it would free up 4-5 spots on 36th for all of you take out customers who just want to run in. Lets rally folks!

As long as they stay as busy as they usually are, i doubt they care where where their customers have to go to find parking. Good idea though

Businesses do try to keep their storefront inviting, including having parking nearby when they might have little street frontage, but please keep in mind there’s a lot of activity in that area during the day and a lot of restaurants/their employees can be targets of crime too. Foot traffic calms down, streets are an empty, quick getaway, and I’ve worked in restaurants where thieves have walked right into the open back door during cleaning to make off with valuables and have walked many a server to their car when they get off work at 11PM or later with cash tips, etc.
