I was in my garden tonite and saw this bright light on the SW. Took my binocular and saw it was bright, it just stays on one spot.
No it is not a plane or a bright star.
It is still there….from 9pm to 11pm
Anybody knows what it is….
I saw this too! And also got my bino’s out…. I first thought it was a helicopter. It was flashing green/red that I could tell. I meant to ask my husband to look when he got home but forgot.
If you’re getting cabin fever, go to this site & enter your present position in West Seattle. You can find visible passes of satellites, the ISS or the flood of space junk out there in orbit. You really have to work at narrowing things down though…
Venus is the bright steady object high in the west after sunset. The bright twinkling (with flashes of color) in the SW is the star Sirius, in the constellation Canis Major.
