VanessaParticipantHappy 75 yrs to the other place, but we all know that the best fish and chips is at Sunfish !! You might think the guys that run the place are grouchy but they are really teddy bears once you get them to crack a smile. The food is never greasy, always fresh, great slaw and the grilled kabobs are the best! Treat yourself and your visitors to some great fish.YUM!

sam-cParticipantregardless of whether or not people agree with you on the best fish and chips in the area- why rain on their parade ?

maplesyrupParticipantI especially like their calamari. But all in all I like Sunfish way more than Spud.

bailecyclistParticipantSunfish is the best in the Northwest. Good food prepared carefully. Love it.

ToddinWestwoodMemberdammit. Now I gotta drive down there and buy food.
I do love it. Those guys are great. Kinda like a Seattle version of the Soup Nazi.

Admiral935ParticipantAfter reading today’s post I had to go ahead and walk down there from Calif. I figured the walk would get me over the calorie barrier. 20 minutes after heading out I sat down to Calimari, Coleslaw, and Chowder! I think the Coleslaw was a first for me in 15years. That’s the kind of ‘slaw I like! Cool, crisp, and wee bit of mayo but verrrry light. I usually get the Cod Combo (remember when it was $6.45, heh). But went Calimari, another first. Still gotta try the Kabob too. But my standby is Cod Combo, Chowder, and Lemonade. Oh, their tarter’s good too!
Great fishing photo’s in there. Sat there at Sunfish looking from behind The Alki Statue of Liberty and over the water. Yeah
