This has been in our Events Calendar in brief for a while but the formal announcement just arrived and I suspect some Forum denizens may be interested, so I want to repost here:

The 10th Annual

Turkey Bowl

A bowling party, food drive and charity fundraiser for the West Seattle Food Bank.

Please come help us make our 10th Anniversary a memorable night!

Saturday November 15th

West Seattle Bowl

5:30 PM – 9:00 PM

(sign-in starts at 5:30, bowling starts at 6:00)

* All skill levels welcome, even those with no skill at all. It’s a party, not a tournament.

* Entrance fee is $25 – (gets you three games, shoes, and tons of fun).

* Bring a group or just bring yourself. Sign up in advance at http://www.beerchurch.com.

* Bring non-perishable food items for the Food Bank. The more you bring, the better your chance of winning raffle prizes.

* All proceeds donated to the West Seattle Food Bank.

* Pre-registration is greatly appreciated and strongly encouraged, but not required.

BAR BRAWL – The crew from West 5 will be defending their title as Bar Brawl Champions. The Beer Church Bar Brawl is a “friendly” challenge between teams from local watering holes like The West 5, The Beveridge Place Pub, The Elliott Bay Brewery Pub, and The Dog and Pony Alehouse.

About Us – Beer Church is a Seattle-based social group that has been organizing a minimum of two charity fundraisers each year for the past 10 years. We donate our time and effort organizing and running the events so that ALL of the proceeds get to the beneficiary. Our goal is to provide fun and affordable ways for people to get involved in their community and support worthy causes.
