Hey- I have an apple tree you’re welcome to help yourself to. The apples aren’t good just to eat, but can be used for canning or apple sauce (at least that’s what a nice lady passing by the house told me). Email me at hcrea @ gonzaga.edu if you want my address.

I went up to Jones Creek Farm in Skagit Valley for apple picking and it was great. http://skagitvalleyfruit.com/

Many, many heirloom apple varieties, which you’re encouraged to taste and taste and taste. We were greeted with hot apple cider, and at the end made our way into their big greenhouse that was full of beautiful, ripe, tasty heirloom tomatoes. It is definitely a bit of a drive, but it’s a beautiful place and fun picking.
