I’m trying to get my hands on something like this in a hurry. Is anywhere in W Seattle likely to have it? Maybe I’m typing in the wrong search terms. I tried Home Depot and True Value. Thanks!

Just about all of the big chain auto part stores carry those kits.

    Also, give McLendon’s in White Center a call:(206) 762-4090.

Don’t recall if I saw the specific item cross my Cashier’s Counter all those (6 1/2+) years ago, but would be worth a try.

I’d start by asking for the Electrical Dept, if not there, then Tools. (But hopefully the Electrical Dept Clerk would direct you there, and transfer your call).

Fry’s is actually surprisingly good for electrical components. All the stuff that you would have found in Radio Shack back in the day before it turned into the confused identity gadget shop it is today. Fry’s isn’t exactly West Seattle but it’s an easy enough drive over the top of the hill into Renton if you can’t wait for Prime.

What are you trying to repair? What your original post shows are parts and material that are used in automotive wiring, generally and wouldn’t recommend them for home wiring.

Motorcycle. Parts I already used but need to replace. Mostly just the wire clamps.

Harbor freight in Georgetown has all that stuff cheap. Not the highest quality though. But you can pick up a free flashlight while you’re there…

Speaking as an electrician who has worked on a lot of mobile equipment I would caution you against cheap electrical connectors as they are a frequent source of damage to electrical systems. Solder and shrink tube what connections you can and use high quality connectors when crimping is the only option.
