    Hello,

    We are looking for a sitter starting this Fall 2017 to help with my 2 daughters for before school care. We have one daughter who will be in 1st grade, and our other who will be attending preschool.

    We are looking for specific help in the mornings starting at/around 7a-930a. The work would primarily include providing breakfast, dressing, and then transporting my 4 year old to preschool. My 6 year old will take the bus to school so she just needs to be assisted to the bus stop.

    Ideally the candidate would be available Mon-Fri but this is negotiable. We are also flexible in adapting to afternoon care for some days rather than mornings.

    This work would be perfect for a part-time student or an online student looking for very part time work.

    I think there are at least 3 property tax increases on the primary ballot. Please vote no on all of them. Yes, they are all for good causes but the people they are supposed to help are the ones who will be hurt by paying higher taxes on their home. Or paying higher rent if they rent.

    We are willing to train the right person even if you don’t have ALL of the qualifications listed. Your positive attitude, train-ability and willingness to receive and apply feedback are the most important assets we’re searching for.

    You must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand comfortably during shifts on floor and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. We’re looking to hire someone permanently – so please, no summer flings.

    I disliked it. It was a few years ago, but I’ve never desired to give it a second chance. I recall the ribs were okay, but the sides were unpleasant. I’m a beans and greens girl and they both disappointed. Perhaps they’ve improved since then, or perhaps it’s just that Texas style BBQ is not for me.

    Look up what executives of other utilities make and I am sure you will be surprised, most make 1,000,000 more than the executives of SCL and SPU.

    I have worked in public utilities and I assure you, you have no idea how complicated it is to provide what Seattle does.

    There are many reasons trucks go down streets multiple times on different sides, elderly and disabled customers are not able to move cans and the contracts do that or some customers may pay more for the service not to have to drag out their cans. Can delivery, pick-up and swapping is done by a different contractor as well.

    Two girls, age 3 and newborn. Three year old is into dinosaurs, princesses, reading, imaginative play, and being rough and rowdy outside. Very communicable, type A, and positive personality. Scared of garbage trucks! Loves the beach, parks, spray parks, shopping at Target. Bad dancer, but does it anyways. Not yet potty trained, but getting curious. Eats just about everything.

    Duties
    Light housekeeping (sweeping, vacuuming, take trash and diapers out, load/unload dishwasher, towels/linens and kids laundry)

    Schedule/Hours

This position is responsible for receiving and responding to daily environmental calls, scheduling and dispatching Environmental crews in the PNW region, and for maintaining client relations.     Receive and respond to all daily Maritime emergency and non-emergency calls

    newnative, one time around 25 years ago, I was coming back to West Seattle in my ’67 VW Beetle that had the factory sunroof (which I pretty much always had open unles it was raining). I was eating a burger and fries, (yeah, I know), I think that was likely from By’s Burgers on 4th S.

    Along the Spokane St viaduct between the 4th S and 1st S on-ramps that were there back then, the wind blew some of my napkins out through the sunroof. I tried to grab them but to no avail.

    I felt bad because I would never litter and not only did it likely appear to the people in the other cars that I had done so but probably reinforced by them seeing my hand reach through the sunroof as I tried to grab them.

    Hi! I have two seriously overgrown trees (apple and cherry) in my yard. Can anyone recommend a good arborist – preferably one affiliated with Plant Amnesty? I can’t afford to spend a fortune on this, but it’s a priority for me.

    I run a large ebay business from a warehouse down in SODO.

    I am looking for a part time shipping assistant to work about 10 hours per week for $11/hour. We ship Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, so you’d be working approximately 3 hours each of those days in the morning. Responsibilities include:

    Pack boxes for the day’s shipments (good attention to detail)
    Take boxes to nearby Office Depot to be shipped
    Keep packing supplies and packing area organized
    Place stock on the shelves as it gets listed online

    Tasks will vary throughout the week with Monday typically being a big shipping day (about 30 boxes) and Wednesday and Friday being lighter, but allowing time to keep things organized.

    I will train in how to effectively pack and use the ebay shipping system. You must have reliable transport, driver’s license, and be very reliable (the shipping has to get done). You will have flexibility in your hours as long as you can demonstrate you get things out on time.

    As a bonus, if you’re interested, you’ll be learning a ton about how to run a successful ebay business and will receive lots of mentorship if you’re interested in that.
