Looking for someone who loves to run and loves to talk about running. You don’t need anything but a passion for the sport, we will teach you everything else. A retail background would be great, but it isn’t necessary. Your job will be to sell shoes and apparel, stock shelves, keep the store clean, and help customers find the right product. Be able to start and hold a conversation, as that is basic skill for sales. Shy, wall flower types will probably not like the atmosphere, as we are a talkative, engaging group that likes customer interactions.
We are looking for someone to work Saturdays 10-5 & Sundays 11-4. Pay starts at $18.69 but is negotiable. We also offer bonuses based on store sales. PTO accumulation starts the day you start. We also have an employee discount, and a separate family discount.

Please drop off a resume in person at the store. We do not respond to emailed resumes unless we have directed you to send it.

Interviews start next week. If you have questions, please drop in and ask them.

We are hiring experienced professional dog walkers. Can you walk larger dogs or dogs that need a professional handler? If so, consider working with a company that supports individual growth, empowerment and healthy communication.

We have immediate openings for WEST SEATTLE Weekday dog walkers. These positions work well for someone looking for part time work 2-4 hours a day. This specific position is for experienced dog walkers who can handle larger dogs or dogs that need more focused walks. All CTH Dog clients are human friendly and vetted for staff. All walks are private leashed walks in their neighborhood. Some dog walks are more than one dog if they live together.

We are looking for honest, driven, self-motivated independent individuals. Our software allows for easy scheduling, invoicing, and communication with clients and healthy boundaries for employees. We are an LGBTQI owned and operated business with a high sense of integrity. Please apply if you feel you would add something positive to our amazing team.

What our team says about the company.

‘Close To Home has been an amazing place for me after leaving a high-stress job. Being outside, exercising and connecting with animals is the perfect antidote for career burnout and has helped tremendously with my depression and anxiety. Plus, the miles I’m walking have conditioned me enough so I am able to do all the hikes that seemed out of reach previously.’

    Hi West Seattle,

I wanted to share a GoFundMe link for someone you may know. Jim Knott owns a small painting company called PAINT THE TOWN. You many have seen Jim’s van in the West Seattle area over the years (since 1994). He often drives his white van with a red logo all over West Seattle. He was active in West Seattle Little League in the 2000s, and also a member of two BNI groups in West Seattle. Jim was recently diagnosed with heart failure and had open heart surgery on July 19th. His family has created a fundraiser for Jim and his family as they navigate his recovery from this surgery and wait for heart transplant. Again, this is a real post for a real person. I am a 34-year resident of West Seattle. If you can find it in your heart to give to Jim, please do. If you can share with others that might know Jim and not know that he is having serious health issues, please share. Thank you. https://gofund.me/3b5e8bae
