I’m looking for someone to care for my 6 1/2 year old son on Thursday afternoons. During the school year (a couple weeks left) he would need picked up from school at 3:25 brought home and then taken to his 30 minute class from 4:30-5. During the summer you would need to be at our home at 2:30 to care for him, then take him to his 4:30-5 class. I get home around 5pm so I am usually at the house by the time you would get back from his class. The school, class and our home are all close to each other in West Seattle. Rate is negotiable. Must be willing to do a background and driving check. If this works please reply to this post so we can connect.

Today they’re back. There are two of these planes, about five minutes apart, flying the same course over and over. One’s PEMCO and the other can’t be determined. What’s particularly frustrating is that they are not spreading the joy around east to west. Just the same north to south track over and over and over. Such a high carbon footprint for a marketing gambit. It’s amazing to see that they cross a major flight path east and west for small plane traffic heading to and from King County Airport and the Kitsap Peninsula. ‘Surprised that’s permitted. I could see them doing this every once and awhile, but every ten minutes in the same track…ridiculous.

Located off Delridge near the bridge.
Trying to decide if its more economical to have mulch blown or spread.
Either I provide the mulch or you provide.

I’m looking to have apx 7-8 yds of mulch or compost spread over 1300 sq ft (so at 2 inches deep.) About 25 % of the area is a slope. Almost no existing plants to work around. If I’m providing the mulch, you will need to walk mulch up 20 stairs OR no steps but hoist over a 4 ft divider.

Looking to have it finished in one day. Would need to provide own tools. Ideally want this done on Saturday, Sunday or Monday anytime. You could come check it out and confirm on Friday.

    Bids?

    Thanks!

My son absolutely loves Bloom Preschool and Ms.Stacy (and Ms. Holly too). This is his third year at Bloom and his first year with Ms.Stacy. From the moment he and I were introduced to Teacher Stacy last Spring, we knew she was going to be a great fit for our small neighborhood preschool. Even though she was new to Bloom, she was in no way new to teaching preschoolers. Quite the opposite in fact! She has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to Preschool education and it shows the moment you step foot in the preschool. She comes up with the most fun ways to engage the students in all sorts of learning. Proof: My five year old came home asking me if I knew what “metamorphosis” was the other day!
Some of my son’s favorite parts of Bloom are the sensory table experiences (play doh, slime, water), the various art projects, writing in his journal, yoga, and class walks to Hiawatha to play on the playground. My Mama heart is so happy to be at a school that my son loves, with a teacher that he loves and knowing that he has been well prepared for Kindergarten.
I highly recommend Bloom Preschool; it is a gem of a West Seattle Preschool. I also recommend touring Bloom and meeting Ms.Stacy (check out http://www.westseattlebloompreschool) for more info).

We were parked by your car at Don Armeni and noticed you left without your bag. We waited a bit to see if you would return, hoping that you’d realize you left your bag somewhere. We ended up bringing your bag home with us in hopes to reunite you both.

For verification, what’s the color of your bike pannier and what’s the contents?

Adding onto the Bloom love fest, our 3 year old has been going since the fall and our second will be attending in next fall. Teacher Stacy and Holly are amazing at what they do and we love the small class sizes. My daughter is so excited when she heads into Bloom 3 days a week and comes home with a new story every day. As a working mom, I dont get to be there for pick up and drop off so the notebook is something i cherish and very much appreciate as it gives me insight into how they interact and behave at preschool. Highly recommend.

Hello! I personally can’t say enough great things about Bloom. I have two kids and am bummed that we only got to experience Teacher Stacy for one year (my youngest starts Kindergarten this fall). My son is very content to be at our house playing, but loves going to preschool each day! Some of my favorite things are the notebooks that Stacy keeps on each kid to jot down observations and funny things they say at school, the amazing art projects they do, the constant change of table activities for the kids, the fun yoga poses (that my son leads us in at home), and the small class sizes. As you noted she is flexible on days and I personally liked that my son had a chance to be a leader, when he attended on a day that is primarily younger kids.

Hi! I have a 3 year old currently at bloom. And my two year old will be starting in the fall. We absolutely love everything about it. Teacher Stacy keeps the kids busy. They take walks, do yoga, arts and crafts and so much more. The older bloomers do more in terms of prepping for kindergarten. My daughter comes home with projects from learning her alphabet. They had caterpillars a couple weeks ago and she came home telling me that it was a chrysalis. We love that it’s a smaller class. The teachers really have time to work with the students. I highly recommend bloom!

A lot of people think Trader Joe’s is cheap, however they make huge profits in impulse shopping-over the competition. They intentionally create or move into places with small parking lots and have narrow aisles to create a panicky atmosphere. People see the full lot and think there’s something going on. The same with inside, it’s crowded, people compete for their space in line. it brings out the worst in people. I save money wherever I go because I only buy what I need and what fits in my backpack. whether it’s Safeway, Met Market or PCC.
