We are looking for one part-time person, to add to our small team to work in the front office.

The front office is where the phones are answered, orders are written, and the daily warehouse flow is scheduled. We communicate with our distributors, wholesalers, and brokers via phone, email, and even Fax! There are several clerical tasks associated with this position, including maintaining inventory information for the online sales platform FAIRE. The front office also updates and maintains our catalog, sell sheets, and price lists. This job requires polite customer service skills, accurate English language communication skills, attention to detail, and good organizational skills. A culinary background/interest in food is helpful. Knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Outlook a plus.

Predictable hours: We operate 9-5, Monday through Friday. This part-time position will likely be 1-5, M-F.

The 3-way at 47th/Waite/Admiral is cycling through even though no cars or pedestrians are wanting to cross, or access Admiral way. As Admiral is the arterial it should stay green unless a car comes from 47th or Waite or a pedestrian wants to cross. I called SDOT Friday and their weekend line yesterday. Tried again this morning but nobodies available. WSB, any back channel to get ahold of someone that will actually come out to adjust?

Personally I don’t recommend St. Anne Hospital in Burien after a close friend almost died there from diverticulitis. Go instead to Swedish or Virginia Mason on Pill Hill for a much better chance at a positive outcome.

Friend went to Saint Anne in Burien. He had something more serious than they wanted to/could handle. They sent him to Harborview. Unless you’re confident it’s not something really serious probably safer to go to pill hill to one of the big hospitals.

We just had my daughter’s Subaru repaired at Burien Auto Rebuild after being rearended (and pushed into the car in front of her) on Ambaum. Although they were not on our insurance companies preferred list of body shops they came highly recommended from a trusted friend in the auto industry. We are very impressed with the job they did and how quickly they were able to get it done. And they did all the paperwork/legwork with our insurance, it was really easy.
