My husband and I have lived in HP for 3 years. We previously lived in the Junction (1 block off California) and right on Alki Ave. I find HP to be much more quiet than both previous areas and we have experienced less crime than Alki and especially the Junction. (Though there is crime here as well.) My street is mostly young professionals living in townhomes. It’s a nice community where we have friends and people that look out for our home when we’re away. We can walk to Target, Starbucks, the grocery, and the new liquor store. It’s great!
