That’s a print queue message so the problem is probably software. Which os and which printer are you using?

Try the self test, the test print from within your os and try to install and print from another computer before you take it anywhere.

These will tell you whether the problem is on your computer side or the printer side.

Actual printer repair has to be weighed carefully since the time it take to really fix one (replacing parts) is usually more than the cost of a new inkjet or AIO printer.
