I am part of the neighbors by 36th & Morgan. DPD requires a lot of calls and neighborhoods getting together to “fight” (aka: complain and make reports). Doing this each and every time there is something happening is key for DPD and SPD.
We’ve learned to keep a log as a record, protect your property (pictures, write down serial numbers, keep in contact with your neighbors) and that persistence seems to be key.
We heard at the SW meetings with the police and community that they KNOW the problem houses – so the catch is to keep it on their radar. Long term solutions – but we still hope!
