AirTag binged in Burien, could he had been in your car (unknowingly) and once you got to your destination he jumped out? 😔
Cats sometimes like to climb up into spaces on the underside of large vehicles — pick-up trucks, work trucks, SUVs etc. A kitten can get into almost anything, though full grown cats have fewer options due to size. If there was a commercial truck parked in the neighborhood delivering some service, and it later drove to Burien, that could explain the ping.
