i saw what i was pretty sure was a peregrine falcon in the trees below our place.. we live on the ridge above Lincoln Park… a couple of weeks ago.
We got a telescope to watch the boats on the sound, so i got a pretty good view…
hummingbirds use one of the bushes in our yard as a resting point on their way up the hill… there must be feeders further up… and i got an incredbile view of a ruby throated hummingbird yesterday…
not to mention the eagles that occasionally play in the winds over the sound.
and the scores of other birds i struggle to identify…
