Transitional Resources presents ‘The Voice Inside’ screening @ Center For Active Living
Aug 1 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Join Transitional Resources for a special FREE documentary screening of “The Voice Inside”

Transitional Resources invites you to experience a powerful journey through the life of Joey, a man who has been navigating the complexities of schizophrenia for over 10 years. This eye-opening documentary reveals the challenges and triumphs of living with this condition and sheds light on the ways in which we can effectively treat serious mental illness.

Date: August 1, 2024

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Location: The Center for Active Living (Formerly The Senior Center of West Seattle)
4217 SW Oregon

Following the screening of “The Voice Inside,” stay with us for a 30-minute Q&A session with subject Joey, director Felicia Thomas, and mental health professional and Transitional Resources’ CEO, Darcell Slovek-Walker. This is your chance to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversation about mental health awareness and the urgent mental health crisis currently happening in the Seattle area.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of schizophrenia and the ways that you can help support our neighbors living with serious mental illness. Let’s break the stigma together!
