The 2022 theme for presentations at meetings of The West Seattle Democratic Women is our democracy.

We invite you to a program presented by Cindy Black, Executive Director of Fix Democracy First, an organization devoted to ensuring that democracy is at the top of our state and national agendas. The virtual program on Thursday, January 27, will start with a brief business meeting at 6:15 pm with the presentation starting shortly thereafter at 6:30 and ending at about 7:30. Cindy is active with several state and national coalitions, addressing voting access, money in elections, alternative voting systems, and increasing civic participation. She is committed to helping pass pro-democracy legislation locally and nationally, as well as building an active citizen’s movement through ongoing coalition building, common sense reforms, and public outreach.
