Join us at the site of your future park–48th Ave. SW and SW Charlestown St.–for an evening of fun, ice-cream, and a chance to review the schematic design for this location.

We need to hear from you. Community involvement has been essential in developing the new open space at 48th and Charlestown, and we want to keep it going.

The design firm, Cascade Design Collaborative, has been hard at work incorporating your input from the open house, community meeting, and on-line survey to create a preliminary preferred design for the new park. We are excited to share the design with the community at this last public meeting. Please stop by to take a look and tell us what you think.

After the meeting, Cascade Design Collaborative and Seattle Parks and Recreation will work to prepare documents for bidding and park construction in 2020. Like you, we are looking forward to a brand new park in your neighborhood in 2020!

Thank you to the Genesee-Schmitz Neighborhood Council.
