But how does the driver REALLY feel about West Seattle?

That’s the question Mona from Hello Insomnia is asking after getting this bumper-sticker photo:

P.S. One WSB team member suggests a FARK-style PhotoShop challenge to fill in the blank on this bumpersticker. If anybody has the inclination and software to play around with it that way, send us the result! EARLY SATURDAY MORNING UPDATE: Several people already have come up with possibilities — jump ahead to see them:

First one into the inbox, from Todd:

MLJ crafted these two:

These two are from “E”:

And finally — till we get yours — from Tom, who admits a few are riffs on ideas verbally expressed in the comments on the original post:

I can’t paste the little orange logo here, but I vote for “I (blog) West Seattle” :)

It’s most likely the bleached-out red heart as in the viaduct stickers. That red ink just doesn’t stick around. Uuuh, in some cases anyway. Maybe a yellow happy face?

Is that from a tan Land Rover on 35th ave., just off The Bridge? It looks familiar.

Maybe its one of the owners of OMNI construction, and it’s a screw.

That’s exactly what happened to my old bumper sticker! Plus it got weird and gross peely stuff on it. So… I made my own and you can get one here at no profit to me!

Note: I cannot vouch for the longevity of the red ink on these stickers. Mine still looks good after about a month!

I [Left the Hill] for West Seattle!

I [visit my grandparents in] West Seattle

    I [chew snoose in] Ballard

A graham cracker to anyone who recognizes the reference. ;-)

I sorta like the first one. It’s existential: “I (blank) West Seattle.”

  • Jenny October 13, 2007 (12:38 pm)

I [feel lukewarm about] West Seattle.

    ROTFL!

“bonus points if you can name these characters”

The first is Admiral Akbar from the original Star Wars movies (“It’s a trap!!”). The second is Bob from the Church of the SubGenius. :-)

Sorry, comment time is over.
