Picking up someone at Sea-Tac? Cell-phone lot temporarily closing

An alert today from Sea-Tac Airport: Starting tomorrow, the “cell-phone lot” — the lot where you can wait for someone to call you when they’re ready to be picked up — is closing for a month. During that time, it’ll move to a new location, slightly north of the current one, with double the room. What to do in the meantime? If you have dogs and/or kids with you, I recommend hanging out at the water tower park (don’t know the name of it) at 146th and 24th Ave S – lots of grass to play in and cool views of the airplanes.

If you would like you can always go to the Elliott Bay Brewhouse on the corner of 152nd and 4th in Burien and have a bite or a pint. They are only 7 minutes from the airport.
