The Seattle Public Library will present the final talk in a discussion series on senior care called “You and Your Parents: Partnering for Care
Across Generations.” The third lecture “Conversations about Aging and Dementia” will take place from 2 pm to 3:30 pm Saturday, April 25 at the West Seattle Branch, 2306 42nd Ave. S.W., 206-684-7444.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Some parking spaces are available behind the branch. Street parking is free and available near the branch.

“Conversations about Aging and Dementia” will be a discussion of how to have clear, honest and caring conversations with family members about going to the doctor, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans. Michael Bower from the Alzheimer’s Association of Western Washington will bring a special focus to issues related to dementia, but this program provides tips for anyone caring for an aging loved one.
