T-Mobile Huddle Up, a national community outreach programWHO: 300 local T-Mobile employee volunteers transform a local afterschool space from dull to dynamic, creating a stronger environment for learning and fun.
WHAT: T-Mobile Huddle Up is T-Mobile’s national community outreach and employee volunteer program, connecting kids, primarily from single-parent families in high-need, urban communities, to positive people, places and programs.
Now in its seventh year, T-Mobile Huddle Up has transformed more than 68 afterschool programs nationwide, and is taking on 10 more “extreme makeovers” in 2012.
WHEN: Thursday, July 26
9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Opening Programwith Rep. Eric Pettigrew from the 37th Legislative District in attendance to address the T-Mobile volunteers.
10 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Project work
