300 SEATTLE & BELLEVUE-BASED T-MOBILE EMPLOYEES
TO PAINT, PLANT AND BEAUTIFY LOCAL AFTERSCHOOL SPACE – JULY 26

ROXHILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL to receive an “extreme makeover” as part of
T-Mobile Huddle Up, a national community outreach program

WHO: 300 local T-Mobile employee volunteers transform a local afterschool space from dull to dynamic, creating a stronger environment for learning and fun.

WHAT: T-Mobile Huddle Up is T-Mobile’s national community outreach and employee volunteer program, connecting kids, primarily from single-parent families in high-need, urban communities, to positive people, places and programs.

Now in its seventh year, T-Mobile Huddle Up has transformed more than 68 afterschool programs nationwide, and is taking on 10 more “extreme makeovers” in 2012.

WHEN: Thursday, July 26

9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Opening Programwith Rep. Eric Pettigrew from the 37th Legislative District in attendance to address the T-Mobile volunteers.

10 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Project work
*Volunteers will break for lunch in shifts between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.*

2:45 p.m.: T-Mobile announces surprise donation to Roxhill Elementary School and Volunteers “reveal” new afterschool space to program youth

This is our seventh service day in the Seattle area and T-Mobile’s seventh consecutive year of investing resources, employee time, talent and energy to make a positive impact on afterschool spaces in many of the communities where its employees work and live.
