Announced via the Genesee Schmitz Neighborhood Council:

A sneak peek of the Log House Museum’s new traveling exhibit of Southwest Seattle history will be shown at Madison Middle School on June 8. To create the exhibit, students from Madison Middle School and Delridge and South Park Community Centers interviewed longtime Southwest Seattle residents to create a living record of Southwest Seattle history. Their work will be available in an interactive display which will become part of the permanent collection at the Log House Museum on Alki.

The public is invited to celebrate and get a sneak peek with the students, the Southwest Seattle Historical Society, the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, and the Genesee-Schmitz Neighborhood Council. A party will be held at Madison Middle School Cafeteria on Friday, June 8, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
