About the police response on Alki

10:02 PM: Thanks for the tips. Several police cars are out along Alki Avenue in the Duwamish Head area. They’re dealing with a person in crisis, a man who at one point was reported to be in the water.

10:11 PM: Tipsters report police have left the scene; we don’t yet know the status of the person with whom they were dealing.

~9am he was yelling and in crisis. he pushed a/his stroller of personal items too hard and it went over the side of the sea-wall. he probably jumped in to get it (i’d already passed by). there were a lot of bystanders in the condos across the street. he’s a recognizable guy from the neighborhood – usually in the Admiral, but lately more on Alki. not 30 minutes later – there was another guy in crisis at 42nd ave sw and sw lander – to which there was an aid response. i walked by him, too. curious if he’s okay, too.

I am just adding this above but one of our original tipsters subsequently saw the Alki guy walking up Admiral. I hadn’t heard about the 42nd/Lander incident.

Sorry, comment time is over.
