ORCAS: Whales in view off West Seattle

1:03 PM: Orcas are heading southbound off Constellation Park, reports Kersti Muul. Let us know if you see them! (And if you don’t – check out the video and photos of whales in that area over the weekend.)

1:13 PM: Update from Kersti: “Leisurely SW travel. Now visible from Me Kwa Mooks.”

Currently on Beach Drive on Alki point.  So far whales are difficult to spot but there are parking spots for days! That’s been true for every whale sighting this summer even after the changes to this street.

The true test will be when the SRKWs show up, any day now. But yeah, even on the days with super close passes there’s been plenty of parking…and on weekends Usage has been weird though and making driving a little complicated. It should be a one way road at this point

After boater harassment pushing them further north, there was a successful predation event in Bainbridge ferry Lanes …have been stalled out. 437
