To add to the growing number of vehicle thefts recently, my 2017 Kia Soul was stolen from the NW corner of California Ave SW and SW Hanford St. I parked there at around 12:30 am Friday night/Saturday morning and noticed it gone (and a pile of glass) at 6:30 pm Saturday. She is black with License plate # BOS4455.

FRIDAY UPDATE: The car’s been found.
I’m not sure if it was this black Kia Soul, but yesterday morning (Saturday) around 4:00am I saw a silver 4 door sedan followed by a black Kia Soul leaving the parking lot of the 7-11 at Charleston at a high rate of speed. I was behind them until I went towards the YMCA and it looked like both cars were heading for the West Seattle Bridge. The thing that really stuck out to me about the drivers was that despite running red lights, both drivers ALWAYS used their turn signals. That makes me assume they were probably new drivers….and teenagers.

Hmm… Now I would think that they would be more older/seasoned drivers to always use their turn signals.
My dark blue 2000 Dodge Dakota was stolen from 39th and Stevens on Sunday night. A white truck cased it, then pulled back around and waited while someone got it started. They both drove away together. This was at 9:30pm and in front of a neighbor who was loading their car 50 feet down the street. We have it on video but it’s hard to ID anything.

There is a black Kia soul with damage parked without a license plate on Hanford just west of California. Possibly this one that was stolen? Has a parking ticket on it too…
Hi, that’s mine. She was found by KC Sheriffs in SeaTac. According to road assistance, there were no shops to tow to, so they had to tow her home. The tow truck driver left her like this and I can’t park better because she won’t start. The insurance adjuster is coming Monday. I’m going to put a note in one of the unbroken windows.
