Thanks for the tips and the texted photo. Witnesses say the damage was done by a semitruck “clipping” the utility pole at Fauntleroy/Concord while making a turn. Police are on scene and Seattle City Light has been notified.
No, according to the witness the driver had already spoken to the police.
Great response from Seattle City Light. Within three hours a new pole was delivered with a full crew. Within a few hours the new pole was in place and electrical was transferred without service interruption. Great work. The lower part remaining of the old pole is lashed to the new one waiting for all of the communications hardware to be moved.
