  And last week there were gun shots at 17th and Henderson. I wonder what’s up?

  I heard these loud and clear. They popped off a little after 1am. They were fired VERY fast. This is the third time I’ve heard gun shots from my house in less than a year. All confirmed to be gunshots and not fireworks.

  Woke me  right up,  fastest magazine dump  in the west. Feel bad for whomever had their car riddled. Glad no one was hurt.  What an idiotic and irresponsible thing to do.

  This was life in Tacoma in the 80’s on the hilltop. Grew up there. Get used to it for now. Nobody wants to believe it but yeah there are gangs in West Seattle. And they fight against each other. It’s complicated and unfortunate. I still have gang members in my family. Not here But in Tacoma and they’re part of the Crips. And guess what we have bloods and Crips in Seattle and they are not going away  This is why my brother died and it was all gang related. It was all over the news five years ago   cops were at the funeral protecting us  You may think you’re safe in your little neighborhood that’s wonderful but you’re not. You’ve got to constantly be looking out. Crime is everywhere. You can put 1 million gun laws out there just like locks on everything you own, locks are for honest people. A felon coming out of prison will get a gun in about an hour. Gun laws don’t help. Because bad people, well, there’s a black market for guns and the cops will never be able to stop it. Just a fact of life. You’ll never be able to stop bad guys from getting guns. Gun laws hurt the people that are responsible who like to hunt and are honest humans. I hate it but it’s reality folks. Protect your family the best you can.

    Yeah, definitely don’t try to do anything to control the problem. More guns, that’ll solve it, because no “responsible” gun owner has ever let their weapon fall into the wrong hands, had their weapon taken and used against them, or had their weapon accidentally injure someone – it just never happens right?Ridiculous. Pass strict gun laws, hold gun sellers responsible for how the weapons they sold were used. A handgun like a Glock has no purpose other than killing another human being. Every single country in the world with strict gun control has fewer gun deaths – by a huge margin. Gun control works, the myth that criminals will still get guns even with gun laws is ridiculous. If there were 10% fewer guns available, guns on the black market would be almost 1000% more expensive. A $300 handgun shot up to nearly $3,000 making them far less available to criminals.

  The US has more than 1 gun per capita.  But yeah lets get rid of any laws around guns because its too late?  Dont worry, I predict that in my lifetime every citizen will be required by law to open carry.

  I personally know of this incident and am pretty sure that this was a targeted shooting. I have all the victim’s details but will not go into that due to the situation. But from the info I have the story is very sketchy and is not just a random drive-by.
