We check almost daily on several yet-to-open places, including that one.

“The reopenings continue” should really be “The denial continues.”

Until the end of Covid I won’t be dining out, or getting take away. And I’ve saved so much money eating at home, and healthier than ever. A win for me in all ways during this time. And the socialization I can do online, or on a walk around the neighborhood. I don’t know how restaurants, and in particular bars can re-open profitably. And now with more cases erupting I’m double down on my course. Sorry business owners. The new normal for foreseeable future is based around not going in restaurants and stores unless absolutely imperative. Even my doctor check-in visit was done online.

Does anyone know about Cafe Osita? They were closed for a few weeks before our lockdown orders and I’ve been by a few times since at various days/times and they were always closed. No updates on their Facebook either.

Jim- that is completely your prerogative… so those that feel the same way… maybe don’t talk $:”&$ (and I am NOT saying it is you), about those that want to support local eateries/retail businesses.  Don’t be upset about us opening and trying to STAY open.  You said it best… you feel a certain way, have experienced security, saved money etc… great.  Then you should feel exasperated… so why, do those, who aren’t in your court, feel the need to shame us businesses for providing a place/service to those that “need” social interaction (and safely, to the best of our ability)?  If those that feel we aren’t safe, or compliant, or in need to contact L&I… why aren’t they feeling just as freeing as you?  Instead of getting upset with businesses and their “practices”… why aren’t they sheltering in place and excited about their lack of need to frequent us “dirty” establishments?  To me…it’s a win/win!  Just saying.

Sorry, comment time is over.
