Shelter in place at Denny, Sealth and Roxhill. Investigating reports of man with gun at Roxhill park.

And, of course, now its all clear. Great!

I really like the system SPS uses to text alerts. This stems in part from the Café Racer incident some years ago. Better safe than sorry, I say.

I had a separate story up about this, but thanks. Their Twitter feed now addresses shelter-in-places before we even get a chance to call or e-mail them.

Is there a Honda Civic in West Seattle that hasn’t been stolen?

wsn00b, I know that’s kind of a rhetorical question, but the problem is with some if not all of the ’90s models. 2000 and beyond apparently don’t have the same problem. We had a 2002 Civic for 12 years, no thefts or attempts, prowled once – I left it unlocked and someone looked in the glove box.

I have a 2000 Civic. No thefts. Car Alarm and no valuables in the car unless one considers oil change invoices to be of use.

I’m glad some have had no problems with theft but my 2001 honda was broken into twice, stolen once (no damage) and then had the OEW rims stolen (car on blocks). The last draw was the rim so I sold the car. My new car (non-honda) has never been tampered with. I thought all honda had the same problem as me but I guess not.

Sorry, comment time is over.
